LaSalle’s Amenities
Malden Road in Lasalle has grown so tremendously with all familiar amenities on what is considered the main “drag.” Grocers, financial institutions, local and chain eateries are right in the neighbourhood’s backyards for a convenient “drop in” on the way to and from home. This is a far cry to the sparseness of this area just a decade ago where people are moving to Lasalle for its exclusivity and solitude had to trek to Windsor for just about everything. Lasalle’s Neighborhoods
Timberland Homes seem to be specializing in creating exclusive micro-communities in Lasalle. Quaint and beautiful Kingsville has piqued the interest of chefs and foodies alike. Having a picturesque river view backdrop doesn’t hurt the area either! It has become home to some great local festivals, and with the amount of historic-type restorative homes in the area, interest will continue to grow. Agriculture has always been strong, with summer roadside stands offering the best of the area, but the little town is growing even more diverse. Kingsville’s Main Street, (actually called Main Street), intersected by Division Street and is home to Essex Counties’ best chefs and culinary geniuses. Some have taken it upon themselves to restore old hotels, and one even has a built-in brewery, all with the restored old-world Victorian charm Old Kingsville always offered.
Kingsville Neighborhoods
The development of Timbercreek Estates is comprised is 50 acres with 75 large single-family large size lots built by Anthony Abraham luxury homes and Gord Meuser Design. The homes are built around a pond has been used for ice skating in the winter. Can you picture it? The Estates are close to amenities yet tucked away beside a protected valley bordering the eastern side of the development and leading to Lake Erie. The south and west brag existing lakefront and lake view homes and to the north are the Chrysler Canada Greenway and Pelee Island Winery. The Greenway is a well-maintained trail with links to a Countywide biking network. Reach all the way to Windsor, Colasanti’s in Ruthven or even shopping within Kingsville on this path. Hop on the ferry to Pelee Island and Sandusky, Ohio as well.
Porrone’s Construction’s Cedarhurst Park on Heritage Road is an exciting new development near the heart of Kingsville proper. Ruthven is nestled between Kingsville and Leamington. Homebuilders have taken notice and started development. Porrone Home Builders with Queen’s Valley and Noah Homes with Sun Valley Estates. This is going to mean an upsurge for Ruthven, which is mainly an agricultural community.
Lakeshore and Belle River Amenities
When businesses and homebuilders take an interest in an area of town, a great neighbourhood pops up! This never could be truer of Belle River and Lakeshore. Recently, there was an announcement of one of our top local pizzerias recently opening in Belle River… but why Belle River? It is strategic. People moved to this area for the solitude and easy lakeshore living, but same as Lasalle needed to drive into Windsor for amenities. Belle River is a main artery between Windsor and growing Stoney Point. It’s a great stop in on the way home from work! Lakeside living meets modern day amenities, and current residents are excited about this growth and convenience. This stands to double the value this area has to offer and bring more residents!
Lakeshore & Belle River Neighborhoods
